Lyman Phillips V is our founding principal and CEO of Golden Lion Capital Investments. With a foundational background in the hospitality and commercial real estate industries, Lyman is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s overall strategic initiatives and plays the primary role in the company’s investment activities.

Originally from Natick, MA, Lyman currently resides in West Palm Beach, FL. He graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management within the Isenberg School of Management. Lyman currently serves as a member on the Planning and Development Board for the City of Boynton Beach, is on the Committee for the Palm Beach Young Professionals, and is on the Board for the Leadership Business Council.

Lyman visualizes the big picture and abstract concepts throughout the industry to find value in any situation. He is well connected, and culturally perceptive which combined with his geographical knowledge gives him an unparalleled awareness of major US markets.

Michael is on the Investments team within the Golden Lion Capital Advisory Group. Working primarily on the advisory arm, he collaborates in the acquisition and disposition of single tenant retail, office and industrial properties.

Originally from Stoughton, MA, Michael moved to South Florida after graduating from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management within the Isenberg School of Management. Michael has a strong hospitality background within the luxury country club industry with management level experience at three of the most decorated private clubs in the country. He draws from these experiences to assist high net worth individuals, family offices, trusts, developers and private capital reach their investment goals.

Michael is creative and free flowing with his ideas, providing innovative solutions for our clients and investors. He is empathic, an excellent arbitrator and never compromising in providing the best for whomever he represents.

From the humble town of Granville, MA, Jesse has established roots in management at two Platinum level clubs in South Florida. He graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management within the Isenberg School of Management. This background assists him in understanding our clients and their motivations, ensuring they meet their goals.

Jesse is analytical and detail oriented, guaranteeing that no aspect of an investment is overlooked. He is an adept researcher, who will uncover all pertinent information needed by our clients and investors.

Gene is a highly accomplished real estate professional with extensive domestic and international experience and has facilitated over $500M in real estate transactions. He is adept at facilitating strategic partnerships within the capital stack, and his ability to source lucrative deals and provide innovative solutions to complex real estate challenges has been pivotal to his success.

With a strong hospitality background, Gene also brings nearly eight years of experience with Starwood Hotels and Blackstone's hospitality division.

Mr. Verett's entrepreneurial drive led him to co-found two successful organizations: NextGen Hotels and Ink Hospitality. As CEO of NextGen Hotels, he spearheaded the company's specialization in managing underperforming hotel assets, achieving a remarkable track record of revitalizing struggling properties. As COO of Ink Hospitality, a management and consulting firm, he focused on ground-up new construction projects, demonstrating his expertise in development and project management.

Jaydin will be specifically working alongside Mervat Berry, CCIM, with a focus on retail and multifamily opportunities. He is a seasoned professional with a robust background in Commercial Real Estate, specializing in investment analysis, site selection, project management, and investor relations.

Over the course of his career, Jaydin has partnered with clients on both national and regional scales, including Dollar General, Nevada Health Centers, Modest Brewing Co., and Avatar Foods Inc., driving successful outcomes for high-profile projects across the industry.
His focus spans Lifestyle Centers, Open-Air Plazas, Neighborhood Centers, Power Centers, and many specialty retail assets in between.

Jaydin graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Real Estate & Urban Economics. During his time at UNLV, he was actively involved in the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies, where he honed his understanding of urban economics and investment strategies while contributing to research and case studies that shaped his career trajectory. His academic achievements earned him recognition among the top-performing students in his field. Jaydin is an active member of NAIOP Southern Nevada, Southern Nevada CCIM, and ULI Nevada, where he continues to foster connections and contribute to industry advancements.

Outside of work, Jaydin enjoys Formula 1 Racing, supporting the Vegas Golden Knights (VGK), cheering for his UNLV Runnin’ Rebels and Rebel Football teams, and participating in the seasonal NFL Pro Pick’em League.
